Site Guidelines
The short version of how we expect everyone — students, parents, and instructors — to treat each other. Last updated September 19, 2026.
These guidelines apply to House of Bhangra workshops and classes, this website, and any messaging between families and instructors. They're a plain-language companion to our Terms & Conditions — if the two ever conflict, the Terms govern.
Be respectful
Treat instructors, students, and other parents the way you'd want to be treated — regardless of age, skill level, or how new someone is to bhangra. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior toward instructors or staff isn't welcome at a workshop, class, or the studio.
If your dancer is under 18
Contact with instructors — questions, scheduling, feedback, anything else — should come from you as the parent or guardian, not directly from your child. This is a firm rule, not just a suggestion: see Terms & Conditions for the full policy. Conversations between an instructor and a parent or guardian stay private to that conversation.
Zero tolerance for harassment
Any form of harassment — toward a student, a parent, or an instructor — will be flagged and reported, and may result in losing access to classes, workshops, or your account. Today, if something happens, email us at the address below. Once the parent/instructor messaging portal launches, reporting a concern will also be possible directly from inside a conversation.
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as the site grows — for example, when the messaging portal launches. We'll update the date above when that happens.
